I am currently a senior at Kutztown University studying sport management looking to secure a job in the sports industry. In the summer of 2023, I completed my internship with the Trenton Thunder (MLB draft league team). During my time there, I learned what it takes to run an organization by analyzing the day to day operations during both the off-season and while in-season. I also learned the game-day experience by having positions in the box office, concession stands, the team store, and promotional selling for a post-game contest. During the school year, I serve as the Kutztown University Sport Management Club president. As the president, it is my responsibility to bring in guest speakers, to hold meeting about fundraisers and other events to host as well as working with minor league teams in the area to allow the club students to tour the stadiums while meeting executives. My role as a Sport Management student ambassador is where I attend open houses and talk to prospective students as to why sport management at Kutztown University is a great program. Another role is the TeamWork Online Ambassador where I advocate around the university about the value and importance of the website. My on campus job consists of working with the Game Day Staff to help work sporting events to make them run smoothly.
