I am a psychiatry resident with Rowan University. After completing medical school, I am completing a four year psychiatry residency training program. In this experience, I work across various settings and with different socioeconomic backgrounds. I am graduating in June 2025.

I'm a second year medical student who lives with bipolar disorder. The mission of this podcast is to make listeners feel more comfortable discussing mental health. I'll share my own experiences and thoughts, but also interview other mental health advocates that have influenced my life. My life is easier living openly about my mental health, and I want to convince you to live the same way.

I managed a residential facility of 15 male individuals with severe co-occurring addiction disorders. I learned treatment must be individualized and adjusted for each patient. While patients will certainly have similar experiences, I must meet clients where they are at, and change my practices to offer unique, effective treatment. This facility emphasizes a holistic philosophy by recognizing treatment must include the mind, body, and spirit to achieve an optimal outcome. I also network with renewable energy investors to seek out new energy retrofit projects throughout the west coast. I also target companies suitable for captive insurance solutions. Owen Dunn Insurance Services focuses on captive insurance and has an entire department dedicated towards our captive clients. I have access to 30 different captive markets, and am an expert in the mechanics of these products.I am a Certified Worker's Compensation Advisor (CWCA), and work with my clients on managing claims, improving human resources practices, and reducing experience modifications.

I started my training in Worcester, MA at Hanover headquarters, and transferred to a branch office in Roseville, CA. As part of the Hanover Future Leaders Program, I have been trained to underwrite property and all lines of inland marine business. The position requires me to develop long lasting, profitable relationships with partner agents throughout California, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. I also was a member of a business challenge team assigned to analyze an existing quoting and issuance software. With survey data from the entire inland marine department, our team produced an extensive workflow diagram, and presented essential recommendations to senior leadership staff. The business challenge gave me exposure to software research and development.
