Currently employed at Rigaku Americas Corp as an X-Ray Diffraction Technical Support Specialist. My role requires the ability to troubleshoot remotely guiding customers through various problems to find answers and solutions. I must also be capable of having the technical knowledge to help field service techs as they call in and need assistance troubleshooting. As a field service technician at Rigaku Americas Corp, I was responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on all Rigaku x-ray diffraction systems. A successful technician must have the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level on circuit cards, interpret analytical data, work unsupervised, work with limited technical documentation, and have the ability to work with versatility having to upkeep chiller and heat exchanger systems, work on two and three-phase circuits, manage time wisely and maintain satisfactory customer service while on-site while being able to create solutions quickly while working. Experienced in the US Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician providing experience in repairing and installing fire alarm systems, closed-circuit TV, intrusion alarm systems, phone systems, public announcing systems, 2M capabilities soldering electronic components, and reading and understating schematics.
