I spent my time at UNC Wilmington leading community involvement projects based around plastic pollution, coastal ecology, and protected area management all while receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with minors in economics and sustainability. My higher education coupled with the experiences that were brought along with it has allowed me to grow into a self-starter, take action type of employee. My work ethic has been molded by my strength of communication which led to management positions requiring appropriate human relations, high degrees of time management, organization, and coordination of individual tasks as well as with other members in a team setting. But outside of working hours you can catch me relaxing at the dog park with my very energetic Austrian Shepard or visiting a new state park.My core interests currently include: environmental planning and education, increasing alternative energy and renewable fuel sources, incorporation of social sciences, economics, and husbandry. I believe that for environmental success and preservation there must be accountability, government regulations, incentives, and city/community planning.
