My first ever job was as a busboy for the Der Dutchman in which this tought me a lot about the fact that, no matter the job you occupy, it is extremely important to do everything to your best ability. After I left the Der Dutchman I decided to head to Giant Eagle where I worked as a Cashier for a few years before being promoted to a Front End Coordinator. With this new title I also learned the ability to properly lead others into doing their job correctly, as well as the importance of proper customer service due to the fact that as coordinators, we were responsiblke for fixing the problems of the customers who were having trouble with their checkout process. I learned a lot at Giant Eagle over my years, especially how to deal with tough and frustrating situations with customers with upmost politeness as well as to respect them even though they may not. Unfortunately, I no longer found joy in coming to work at Giant Eagle, so I decided to go to Jet's Pizza and work as a delivery driver. To my suprise, the tips were wonderful and led me to understand just how important a tip is to someone whose entire earnings are from tips. Lastly, as this is my current job, I am learning more and more each day about being polite to customers as well as accomodating during this terrible pandemic.
