Responsible for precise execution of all banquet/catering and event needs for one of Columbia's largest hotel and banquet/meeting facilities with over 27,000 square feet of flexible banquet space. Property features include 2 Grand Ballrooms capable of being sectioned into 12 separate event spaces (each with large pre-function/exhibit spaces). In addition, the property has 1 Junior Ballroom, 2 executive board rooms and a private lounge.Daily duties include hiring, training, inventory management, billing through Marriott's global event managemetsoftware (CI/TY), purchasing, calculation and input of banquet deparment payroll, maximizing ownership profits by staying within budget, reducing costs/expenses...And all other administrative and mangerial duties requied.
