This job was short, due to being a seasonal position, yet I learned many new skills, as it was my responsibility to create a festive and fun, yet safe environment for children, and supervise them to ensure they safely enjoyed their time at Adkins Farm Market.

At 14 years old, this was my first experience with a job. I worked about 56 hours a week, and this was where I learned the importance of discipline and dedication. I worked at Dairy Queen for three years and at 16 I was able to move from working at the cash register to having more responsibilities, such as preparing food and beverages, maintaining a clean restaurant, and working more with customers.
