I am currently a 3rd Grade teacher in the Hermitage community within Metro Nashville Public Schools. I am invested in my students' success and passionate that all students can learn. I use data to analyze students' work and research best practices to improve students' outcomes. I previously worked in the Antioch community with diverse learners including English Learners at Henry Maxwell Elementary. I have experience working in an International Baccalaureate school with Center For Inquiry School #84, and in an urban fourth grade classroom at Meredith Nicholson School #96 in Indianapolis, IN. I am a former Division 1 athlete and was awarded the Chancellor's Award for the School of Education for earning the highest grade point average in my graduating class with a perfect 4.0.
