I had the pleasure of working with Logan this past summer at Costco Travel in the accounting department. Logan brought an insightful mind and maturity beyond his years to our organization. It was easy to see early on that he was a special individual. The expectations I had for Logan were extremely high after a few weeks, and he did not disappoint. Not only was he able to quickly pick up company policies and procedures, he was contributing in many different areas within the department right away. He improved Excel, communication, and teamwork skills, along with learning accounting policy. Aside from completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency, more importantly Logan was able to learn important life lessons during his internship. It is hard to know what the “real world” is like until you place yourself in that setting. On the accounting team, we have a variety of individuals in age, work ethic, and skill levels. It is easy to identify the top-performers versus the people who are consistently negative.
