-Directly manages the entirety of NewBo City Market’s programming and community operations, including corporate events, private rentals, nonprofit fundraisers, concerts and music festivals, and Market-produced experiences, all of which total over 300 events annually. -Oversees the majority of marketing efforts for NewBo City Market including direct task management of NewBo’s graphic design artist and social media manager to engage NewBo’s social media audience of almost 28,000 followers, sending out weekly newsletters to a mailing list of over 10,000 individuals, developing and executing on marketing plans for major Market events and fundraisers, engaging with area radio, television, and print media partners to promote Market events, and more. -Develops and maintains NewBo City Market’s annual programming budget as presented to and approved by NewBo’s board of directors. By May of 2019, NewBo’s net profit in programming had reached 192% of projected goals YTD. -Has successfully created, planned, and executed brand new major events for NewBo City Market and the NewBo/Czech Village District including the NewBo Women’s Music Festival and NewBo CycleFest, along with growth management and execution of previously existing major events such as EcoFest, Cedar Rapids PrideFest, Freedom Fest, and YogaFest. Additionally, directly responsible for bringing other area events to NewBo including Willis Dady Hops for Housing, Progress Iowa Corn Feed, 319 Fest, and Extra Life 2019. In total, these and other events bring over 100,000 patrons down to the district annually. -Successfully grew NewBo’s spring fundraiser, Cocktail Classic, by increasing attendance by 20%, increasing sponsorship by 10%, and increasing total net profit by 1,300%. -Personally manages all legal and financial paperwork for NewBo City Market events, including building and executing contracts and invoices for partner organizations, renters, artists, and third party vendors.

-Worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and COO for over a year to successfully negotiate a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Orchestra Iowa player’s committee and the American Federation of Musician’s union.-Successfully restructured three major Educational Outreach Agreements with area school districts generating over $50k in revenue for Orchestra Iowa while also bringing orchestral education programming to thousands of area elementary students. -Manages regular and fluctuating payroll for upwards of 80 union musicians in accordance with the Orchestra Iowa Collective Bargaining Agreement and in collaboration with the Orchestra Iowa Personnel Manager and Chief Executive Officer. -Manages logistical planning and implementation of major orchestral concerts, including the Orchestra Iowa Fundraising Gala featuring Bernadette Peters, and large-scale events, such as a sold-out show with country star Vince Gill.-Oversees all financial, logistical, and day-to-day operations of the Opus Concert Cafe, an 80+ seat performance venue and rental space, including invoicing, contract development, and coordinating bar management with VenuWorks. -Worked with administrators within the Linn-Mar school district for over a year to construct and implement a new Educational Outreach Agreement, bringing orchestral education programming to over one thousand additional students.-Alongside the Orchestra Iowa School Manager and in partnership with Ballet Quad Cities, produces a semi-annual Youth Concert for upwards of three thousand students.-Actively maintains and seeks out new relationships with other area non-profits and companies for collaborations on projects and programs throughout the area, such as Theatre Cedar Rapids, Brucemore, Hancher, the City of Cedar Rapids and the Economic Alliance, and many more.

-Resurrected the struggling acting program at Nolte Performing Arts Academy in partnership with the owner, Leslie Nolte, and Director of Music, Erin Taylor.-Developed a successful new acting course structure for students of various ages, including character exploration, narrative development, and masterclasses with guest artists.-Saw significant enrollment increase throughout the department between the 2013 and 2014 academic years, primarily due to positive response to program development.-Organized, led, and hosted a large year-end recital for Nolte students across multiple departments at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, which was extremely well received.

-Coordinated with executive management to develop and spearhead a new departmental structure and initiative within the Touring Program, including a new management structure and the implementation of a brand new software infrastructure (Slate Technologies).-Worked alongside two additional managers to directly manage, schedule, and train a team of almost 30 Cornell College Tour Guides.-Held regular staff meetings and partnered with additional departments across campus to form efficient and effective tour experiences for visiting families and prospective students.-Worked directly with prospective students and their families to formulate a dedicated and individualized experience for all.
