I have 12 years of experience in the retail industry and four years of experience as a sales representative in the manufacturing industry. I am currently a Branch Manager in a plumbing retail store.My day begins with the responsibility of unlocking the store. I have five staff members under my supervision. I check that stock is in order, assist customers and serve as a cashier. I am responsible for daily reports on the sales figures. I also perform quarterly stock takes and daily stock perpetuals. I take a personal initiative to keep customers satisfied by delivering stock on a daily basis.I have an extensive knowledge of all plumbing related products ranging from taps to geysers. I keep up to date on all the latest products on the market including solar water heaters. I have excellent team leadership skills and my personal philosophy is that a good manager or leader needs to be able to perform all the duties that are required in a successful store.
