• Specialty Bottomer Sack line operator/ Production line manager- Responsible for operating both specialty Wind Moeller and Holscher cement sack lines. Responsible for training assistants into operator capacity. - Designate crew duties, housekeeping and safety standards. - Monitor absenteeism, targets and efficiencies. Production line duties include, invocoms, monitoring of shift outputs, waste. - Supervision of teams including managing overtime, and absenteeism costs. Assist operators with breakdowns on their lines. - Planned maintenance issues and generate job cards as preventative measure for breakdowns. Lead and motivate teams along principles of cheaper, better, faster.- Generate daily and monthly output reports. PowerPoint presentations to teams highlighting production targets, outputs, quality and waste.- Handling of disciplinary issues, including performance evaluations of employees.WAREHOUSING• Finished Goods receiving Clerk. Accurate receiving and capturing of all finished products into stock. Responsible for creating SOPS for capturing into Baan system. Part of Baan integration team when Afripack went live with this system. Trained all current Finished Goods Clerks in Sack Division.• Finished Goods Dispatch Clerk.Held this position temporary until responsibilities were moved over to Imperial warehousing. Booking of Transportation, Dispatch planning, Rotation of stocks and stock control.• Cyklops operator/ Forklift driverResponsible for operating the cyklop pressing and wrapping machine. Ensuring quality wrapped products received into Dispatch.
