Client: UPMC Health Plan offers access to the best hospitals, best doctors, and best customer service for individuals, families and employer groups. The legacy Health Plan website was built on Asp.net / JQuery / WCF services and SQL Server. The modernization of this portal involves upgrading the front end with Angular 8 and TypeScript and backend is migrated from WCF to Web API (microservices model). My major work involved is to extract all the business logic from Front end layer, WCF and SQL stored procedures and group them into appropriate microservices and then expose the data over Azure Service Fabric in JSON format. Later frontend team will consume this from Angular Single Page Responsive Application.
