I worked on a summer long project developing an Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling Alternatives Landscape that highlighted emerging recycling technologies and the companies leading in this field. I had the opportunity to meet with several companies and learn about their recycling processes. At the end of my project, I created a report detailing my findings and suggestions for Ford for potential partnerships or investments, as well as give a formal presentation to senior level management in the Research and Advanced Engineering Department. I had an internship at Ford Motor Company through the High School Science and Technology Program. I working in the Emerging Materials and Sustainability Group and had my own research project of incorporating rice hull ash-based polyol for car seat applications.
