Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated with building things. I always loved Legos. Then in school, I always excelled in math and science, so many people suggested that I become an engineer. I chose Construction Management because it I realized that I really have a passion for buildings and large-scale projects. I want to improve things and beautify them. My experience in high school with Student Leadership opened my eyes to my passion for leadership. I love to motivate people to improvement and to see the joy that comes into their lives as a result. I was able to serve the student body of Canby High School all four years and have since returned and spoken to the leadership team. My hobbies include playing musical instruments such as the piano and violin, singing, lifting weights, sports and nutrition, and fishing. During my adolescence I was very involved in scouting, sports, and other extra-curricular activities, during which I was able to develop many skills. I have spent considerable time developing skills in public speaking, planning events small and large, making and giving presentations, approving a budget, and social media and broadcasting information. I am also developing my skills in motivating people to do their best work, encouraging others to participate, and helping people see the value of their efforts.
