At 14, at my request, my parents signed a work permit for me and I started working at Huddle House (like a Waffle House) washing dishes and taking orders at the register. Lifeguard for one amazing summer. I worked on the custodial staff as a janitor at my high school the summer leading into senior year. I worked for a couple years at Movie Gallery (Blockbuster) which is how I got introduced to great shows on DVD like LOST and Weeds. Straight out of high school in 2008, after interning for a month or so, I became a regular radio personality on a Top 40 radio station in Lincoln, NE, 1063 KFRX where I got be on the morning show, host a few Saturday nights, and be a part of interviews and concert experiences with the likes of Chuck Liddell, Boys 2 Men, Chingy, Todd Graves, and so many others. It was insane. I also sold/leased apartments full time and successfully negotiated during my interview a free apartment as part of my salary, to be able to afford to live there. I moved back to Missouri to attend college to become a X-Ray tech, and while I did that I worked in a mold injection factory off Broadway in downtown St. Louis managing shipping and logistics, as well as managing warehouse inventory. I also bar tended and waited tables for a little over a year. I spent two years performing X-Rays at a local urgent care. After that I spent about a year driving a van, performing X-Rays in rural Missouri. Then, I went corporate. For the next several years, I worked in pharmaceutical research, where I lead projects, managed clients, and learned about the business side of medicine. That path led me to a career in marketing and advertising where I learned the good, the bad, and the ugly of customer data, trends, and digital marketing. In 2020, starting producing podcasts and created Mostly Superheroe the podcast. A variety talk show where we review movies, book, art, music, and feature local and national businesses, creators, musicians and more. Stories are my passion.
