Starting as a Library Intern at VOA, my introduction to the commercial industry was a hands on experience. Shortly after beginning in the library, I began transitioning onto projects. After brief interactions in Department of Defense and Education, Hospitality and Workplace became my home. Hospitality experience encompasses schematic design through construction administration on multiple brand, duel brand and boutique hotels. Within the fast pace of workplace, I’ve had the opportunity to work from programming through construction administration with leading technology clients.

Starting Crate&Barrel in the summer of 2014, I was a Seasonal Sales Associate. After a three month review I was hired as a part-time Sales Associate. I have always strived to offer outstanding customer service by connecting with customers at a personal level and applying my knowledge of product information and design skills to ensure the best possible outcome from every visit. Just recently I was trained as an Advanced Seller. I gained the knowledge necessary to work all areas throughout Crate&Barrel from household accessories to furniture. I now have the capability to book deliveries, create custom pieces, as well as share a more knowledgable understanding of each individual furniture piece. My work continues on the merchandising team, furthering my store experience as well as applying my education assisting and developing displays throughout housewares and furniture.
