Logan Magazine is a glossy, fashion and lifestyle magazine for people with disabilities. My mission is to inspire, encourage and inform young people with disabilities on how to live a lifestyle that is productive, purposeful and pleasurable.After sustaining a brain injury at age 16 in 2001, I came home to face the day to day process of recovery. While searching book stores and the web for advice, tips and direction. I found many grim details facing young adults with disabilities.That's when I decided to create a prototype of a fun, informative lifestyle magazine. With much help from the Spokane community we launched Logan Magazine November 2006.Experience:•Lead the development of creative concepts that speak to our readers by facilitating brainstorming sessions and working closely with our target and creative teams. •Extract creative thoughts and ideas from target focus groups. •Participate in client meetings and pitch creative concepts to clients on behalf of the design team. •Provide constructive feedback to designers and team members in a insightful and motivating way. •Motivate designers and support team to achieve our mission. •Research and utilize innovative design and creative concepts. •Contribute new sources of creative inspiration.•Contribute to the branding of Logan Magazine and related internal projects as needed. •Act as company advocate and embody the LM Magazine values: people, passion, creativity, fun and excellence. •Participate in ongoing special projects in support of Logan Magazine environment and strategic plans.•Participate in Logan Magazine marketing events such as social events, diversity workshops, transition conferences, trade shows, assistive technology conferences etc.Specialties: Logan Magazine was voted most inspirational launch of 2006 by mr magazine.comMarketing, speaking events, diversity workshops, transition conferences, trade shows, assistive technology conferences etc.
