About Marie Logan

What’s the most important thing in life, I ask myself? Passion, Marie! Passion! Passion for what you do, who you are, the change you can create, the small things that make the big things happen. Without passion, nothing can be accomplished. Every day I strive to be passionate. My professional journey has lead me on many discoveries of what I am passionate about. At WCG, my first “real” job, I discovered my passion for teaching and training adults… and the value of a supportive organization and its leaders. My life at Junior Achievement taught me that detours are valuable and adults love to rekindle their passion for play. And that if you have no fear and you believe in the power of giving, your achievements can be long-lasting. The last 10+ years that I’ve spent teaching and training adults has incited a passion that I know will never and can never die. Connecting with people as they realize and renew their dreams and talents; adjust their ways of thinking; experience light-bulb moments; meet new friends and make impactful decisions about their careers and lives is, well, incredible. And I get to do it all through creativity, games, powerful discussions, and so much more. I am forever grateful to the people that allow me to teach; give me space for creative development; the opportunities to lead classrooms and staff; and the organizations and the people in them that put faith in my talents. Thank you for providing spaces and platforms for me to live my passion. P.S., I’m passionate about dancing too. Fun Fact: I’m a Zumba instructor!Specialties: Honours B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in English, Communications and Women’s Studies. Adult Education Certificate (2009) through Durham College. Level II Personality Dimensions Facilitator; Up Skills for Work Facilitator; Train-the-Trainer for AODA; Soft Skills Solutions Certified Facilitator; Certified in Strong Interest Inventory; an ESAT Assessor; Motivational Interview coach; Zumba Instructor (2012).

Listed skills include Resume Writing, Training, Interviews, Workshop Facilitation, and 46 others.
