I served as an intern with the analytics group in MSK’s Development Office, which focuses on applying data and analysis to problems in fundraising. This group provides insights in such areas as donor motivation and the identification of individuals considered most likely to make a contribution. While with the group I created a data mining application using Python to identify potential donors and gather relevant information from research reports and notes made by fundraisers and collaborated with other members of the analytics team on a large-scale database conversion and data validation.
