Logan Mucha is filmmaker and video artist with a focus on social justice, human rights and environmentalism. His work spans across documentary film, gallery pieces and commercial content, with a range of organisations and clients including the ABC, City of Melbourne, Tourism Western Australia, the NBN and two of Australia’s leading universities.His films have played on ABC’s iView, at festivals around the world and he has twice won Best Australian Short at the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival. Logan’s feature documentary, East Bloc Love, was screened on Dutch television and launched Amnesty International’s Pride Fund at the Movies that Matter festival at the Hague. His short film, Dani Boi, was nominated for an Australian Directors Guild award and his video work, We’re All In This Together, won the Emerging Artist Award at Fortyfivedownstairs and was nominated for Best Documentary at the St Kilda Film Festival in 2019.Logan graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2012 and went on to work with production company @Radical.Media in Sydney and New York. He now directs video content for global production company Sweetshop and is currently developing his most ambitious screen-based project ‘Dark Tide’, with support from Creative Victoria.
