I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong commitment to improving access to care and supporting underserved communities. Since 2021, I’ve worked across various roles in healthcare, most notably as a care coordinator for an infectious disease team at a federally qualified health center. As a member of the ID Team, I specialized in HIV case management, PrEP prescribing, and STI prevention. In this role, I managed complex patient care, supported individuals in navigating HIV treatment and prevention, and worked to reduce stigma while ensuring access to vital healthcare services for vulnerable populations. I also focused on grant management and reporting in this role.In 2024, I transitioned to my current role as Health Center Manager at Planned Parenthood Great Plains, where I have had the privilege of helping open a new clinic in southeast Kansas. This clinic serves as a critical point of access for abortion services, not only for my hometown but also for individuals in surrounding states where reproductive rights have been restricted. I am proud to contribute to this important mission and support patients through compassionate, high-quality care.In addition to my healthcare work, I am a certified professional dog trainer with nearly a decade of experience in animal rescue and training. Since 2015, I’ve worked with dogs in various capacities, specializing in behavior modification, training, and rehabilitation. I am passionate about bridging my love for animals with my desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives.Whether in healthcare or animal care, I am driven by the opportunity to make a difference. I approach every challenge with empathy, resourcefulness, and a commitment to positive change.
