In this position, I managed all of the working parts within the student newspaper, from other editors to student reporters to photographers. I copy edited and reviewed stories on a weekly basis, as well as provided story pitch opportunities for reporters. I wrote stories for the paper on a weekly basis, and helped to cover breaking news as it arose. Overall, I helped guide the student newspaper as a whole, and was proud to be at the helm when the Southeast Arrow was named the 2014 Best Newspaper in the State at the MCMA state conference in April 2015.
