Back then I only created folders and text files. After a while, my activities turned into creating small websites, software addons and system installations for good friends and family. In all these years, my passion for IT grew and I learned a lot.In my early years, I created my own, small website for my online identity.Today I lead a few website and software projects for free in my spare time. At work I set up and manage modern and innovating IT infrastructure for customers. I specialize on cloud environments and working together with the customer. My goal is to provide simple and innovative but also easy-to-use and forgiving IT, because no one likes impatient and over-complicated tech support.Since mid-2023, I have been focusing on everything related to IT security, IT GRC, and the TISAX label. This allows me to stay current, as the world of cybercrime continues to grow, and there are increasingly more laws and regulations that must be adhered to nowadays.In August 2024, as part of my professional development, I took on the role of IT Security Officer at WK IT GmbH, a premium IT service provider based in Bavaria. In this position, I am responsible for the entire IT security within the company.Working remote is important to me. The corona pandemic made clear, how fast one has to go from the office environment they're used to, back to home. However I realized really quick that my performance is the same, or even higher, when working from home. To be more friendly to the environment (and to sleep for longer :-) ) I prefer home office.You can also have fun with me though. A chill and good work relationship to my colleagues is important to me - because work shouldn't become a burden. A relaxed PowerPoint presentation in-house? An funny ad for the social media channels?
