Mechanical events is an inter-college competition held under the annual technical fest Engineer NITK, NITK Surathkal.Following is the list of the events*. 1. Bot Hockey2. Robowars3. Perfect machines 4. Wright flights. The above events are held for 2 days with the participation of around 50 teams in each event.I have gained a vast amount of experience and management skills in organizing these events. Looking forward to implement them wherever necessary. * Events can change upon decisions made by the organising team.

Engiconnect is an event held under Engineer, annual technical fest of NITK, Surathkal. It is an one day exhibition event for children in and around Dakshina Kannada and Udupi from class 6 to 12 to showcase their talent. Who participate with working and non-working models on any chosen topic. The event registration starts at 8am followed by presentation in the presence of distinguished judges till 4pm. At 4:30pm prize distribution ceremony and the event ends at 5:30pm. The exhibition is open for parents, students and faculty from any school or college.As an executive member, I have visited to around 40 schools and pu colleges and got chance to talk with the distinguished principal of each schools and explained about the exhibition( many of the schools have been participating for a long time). Interacted with students of many schools, explaining them about the exhibition and encouraging them to participate. Then met the assigned POC faculty of each schools and gathered contact details. I kept updating changes and necessary details time to time, helped many of the schools for online registration and always up for doubt clarification around the clock.I gained a lot of confidence and enhanced my skills of communicating with a group of students, faculty and principal on direct encounter and over phone.

As an executive member at Incident NITK, I had opportunities to connect with great minds, who were planning and executing one of the best college cultural festivals in India. Learnt what goes into planning and executing each and every small task and when such tasks are put together bring bigger things to life.
