About Loïc Mathonet

Depuis tout petit, j'ai toujours été passionné par le dessin, la bande dessinée, l'illustration, le cinéma d'animation (tout type de dessin animé en fait) et l'univers du jeu vidéo. C'est sur cette voie que j'ai décidé de me diriger après mes études secondaires, en m'inscrivant à l'école Supérieure de Saint-Luc à Liège : section Bande Dessinée. J'allais enfin pouvoir améliorer mes compétences en dessin, en narration, donner vie à mes histoires en créant mes personnages et différents univers. Une fois le diplôme en poche, je me trouvais trop jeune pour espérer débuter une carrière et il me manquait quelque chose, je voulais toujours autant donner vie à mes créations, mais cette fois entièrement, avec du mouvement et du son... C'est dans cette optique que je me suis inscrit à la Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard, ou j'ai tenté une petite incursion dans la section Jeu Vidéo, mais la programmation n'étant pas ma tasse de thé, j'ai préféré revenir à mes premiers amours : l'Animation 2D et l'illustration. J'en suis sorti diplômé avec distinction et 2 courts-métrages à pouvoir présenter en festival.Depuis lors j'ai pu travailler sur des productions comme Wakfu Saison 3, Mily Miss Questions Saison 2, Rap Fighter Cup, Grosha & MrB ainsi que le long-métrage Les Secrets de mon Père.
