Leading the DSO Commercial team, comprised of technical and commercial project managers and analysts. The team had responsibility for the development and implementation of Flexibility Solutions, Smart Grid Development and the Accelerated Loss of Mains Change Programme.I also led on our DSO Regulatory Incentive strategy, tracking business performance across DSO and Load Related Expenditure mechanisms, and our communications and engagement activities.

Leading the development and implementation of flexibility services within the North West, and collaborating with other DNO’s through industry working groups to standardise and simplify these emerging market offerings.

- Developing the framework for flexibility service procurement- Inform and model strategic business decisions and investment solutions to identify the most beneficial scenario. - Evaluating projects to identify where smart technologies can be implemented - Analysis of network loading and demand forecasting scenarios to identify regions that may require potential reinforcement- Management of contracted capacity, negotiating flexible contracts and amendments to contracted capacities and connection agreements

- Analyse data to identify inefficiencies and develop new strategies and processes. - Trial new initiatives to inform potential investments- Ensure regulatory compliance- Define work programmes, identify synergies where possible to achieve both unit and cost efficiencies- Contractor management - Stakeholder identification and engagement

Provision of operational MI in the form of monthly dashboards with over 20 different performance criteria across all aspects of Operations (financial, maintenance, faults, customer satisfaction, staff utilisation). Production of Business Cases, including research, development and delivery of the projects with a constant strive to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. Complex data management, manipulation and analysis. Assist with the training and implementation of new technologies. Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel user) and keen to expand my Project Management skills acquired through PRINCE2 training further.
