Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) tourism industry assessment in Isla Mujeres, northern Mexican Caribbean, in order to identify good and poor environmental practices that can lead to unsustainable development of the economic activity.

Biologist at the Coral Research Unit. Taks included calibration of a pyranometer using SBDART software for coral reef bleaching campaign in US Virgin Islands. Photopigment extraction and quantification of Symbiodinium spp, exposed to different temperatures. Temperature and radiation effects in Pocillopora damicornis and Western Atlantic coral species, monitoring water chemistry of coral tanks.
