Issues addressed included bandwidth bottlenecks, insufficient java memory, MQ failures.

Directed business process management (BPM) solutions for commercial lending and deposit operations teams. Responsible for building collaboration, identifying and removing process bottlenecks, building efficient and automated solutions for manual tasks and increasing lending competitive advantage. Resolved commercial loan processing inefficiencies using historical data and feedback from lenders and support staff, resulting in improved staffing allocations, the removal of unnecessary processes and the identification of parallel processing opportunities. These efforts reduced the length of time to approve and process loan requests by two weeks, strengthened the bank’s regional competitive advantage and generated a conservative estimate of $22M per year in new lending opportunity.

Led a dedicated team of performance and site reliability engineers and provided SDLC solutions to support the QA and development teams for a fault tolerant, distributed architecture of popular financial planning web applications. • Contributed to Fidelity’s first CDN implementation using Akamai cloud to improve customer satisfaction by serving fidelity.com content from regions in closer proximity or sites with lower latency for millisecond response times. • Contributed to the implementation of a PaaS solution for a popular Fidelity Investments online tool which was adapted for branding and feature set variables of over 20 commercial clients and served from the Fidelity platform.• Led troubleshooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution for 13 production applications correcting hardware failures, memory leaks, thread contentions, CPU throttling and issues with database and network response times. • Built architectures including; design, server selection, OS and JDK installation, monitoring, firewall, load balancing.• Directed the performance tuning and beta testing for Solaris OS and Windows web and application servers which provided guidance for efficient vertical and horizontal server and instance expansion.
