Successfully negotiated a settlement agreement due to a dispute between foreign and local shareholders of a joint venture started in 2012 concerning investment and development of the Gothic Mines in the Silobela region of the Midlands province in Zimbabwe. Following the settlement, Grestaben Investments (Pvt) Ltd became the title holder of several antimony and gold claims and the subsequent development of geological research, mining and processing facilites were undertaken. A gold CIP plant was built and commissioned in April 2023.

Appointed by the private and public shareholders as the first Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tanganyika Mining Burundi S.m. to oversea the development of a private/public joint venture resulting in the development of mining, construction, commissioning and processing of the first industrial producing gold mine and processing plant in the Cibitoke province of Burundi.

Successfully negotiated a 25 year mining license for the extraction of 3Ts (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten) in the Kirundo and Ngozi provinces of Burundi. Ntega Mining Burundi S.m. is a Public-Private Partnership between Ntega Holding Burundi S.a and the State of Burundi. As the Project Developer, I was involved from negotiating and obtaining the mining license to overseeing the mine development, construction and commissioning of the processing plant on behalf of the private shareholders. I also ensured regulatory compliance and membership to the ITSCI programme for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains, a renown international mineral traceability program. https://www.itsci.org

Successfully negotiated and obtained the first 25 year industrial mining license for gold in Burundi. Tanganyika Mining Burundi S.m. is a Public-Private Partnership between Tanganyika Gold S.a. and the State of Burundi. Successfully negotiated and obtained a geological research license (2015) and its two subsequent renewals (2018 & 2020) as well as overseeing the geological research campaign carried out by the operations team leading to the presentation of a bankable feasibility study in order to apply for a mining license in a Public-Private Partnership with the State of Burundi.

Represented and assisted foreign investors in acquiring a geological research company in Burundi and successfully negotiated two renewals of the geological research license (2016 & 2018) with the government of Burundi. I collaborated with the operations team that was conducting the geological research and drilling campaigns resulting in the presentation of a bankable feasibility study in order to apply for a mining license in a Public-Private Partnership with the State of Burundi.
