As a Team Lead, I had the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in conducting an agricultural survey on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government, in collaboration with the Hari Narayana Network. Our primary objective was to collect accurate geospatial data for agricultural purposes using Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) instruments.Key Responsibilities:Led a team of surveyors and technicians in the accurate placement of survey points on the ground using DGPS instruments.Coordinated and organized field surveys in various Agricultural locations in Andhra Pradesh.Ensured adherence to survey protocols and best practices to maintain data integrity.Collaborated with government officials and stakeholders to understand survey requirements and objectives.Provided technical guidance and training to team members on DGPS instrument operation and data collection techniques.Oversaw data quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.Achievements:Ensured timely and accurate data collection, contributing to informed decision-making in agricultural planning and development.Maintained a high level of accuracy and precision in placing survey points, resulting in reliable data for further analysis and implementation.Fostered a collaborative and efficient work environment within the team, leading to seamless coordination and successful project execution.Through this internship experience, I developed valuable skills in team leadership, geospatial data collection, survey coordination, and stakeholder management.
