I am a strategic and result-oriented conservation leader with over 24 years of experience working with different teams and programs. I have a proven ability to build teams, consensus, and partnerships to tackle critical issues in remote sites that can be challenging to work in. I have supported and participated in policy development, organizational capacity building, and conservation areas management plans. I am also a part-time lecturer at the universities- Turkana University College and Maasai Mara UniversityI am the Founder and Managing Director of Eliye Environmental Consultants and NAWI Rangers Training Companies - contracting and consulting companies that support governments, NGO's and other partners to look at problems and issues from new perspectives on ecosystems and conservation training. I use my experiences and that of colleagues and network to bring ideas that are tested and work, look for ideas that work elsewhere and should be used to improve conservation impact, and help make our world a better place. I also have experience working in Protected Areas and Wildlife Crime Units, based on practical experience developing and using achievable approachesI am an organized and dependable candidate who manages multiple priorities positively.
