My role has been to facilitate the design thinking and software masterclasses whilst collaborating with the teachers on achieving their objectives and innovate their educational programs. This role provided me the opportunity to be actively engaged with our clients (students and teachers), as well as listening with empathy to them while dedicating ourselves to their leadership, passion and vision.• Lead SketchUp and Adobe workshops and co-lead design thinking workshops.• Designed SketchUp activities and training package for teachers and future trainers.• Provide facilitation support to other trainers by ensuring teachers’ and students’ needs are met during the workshop.• Ensuring that resources are organized according to plan for the workshop to run smoothly.• Encourage full and equal participation from students and teachers by creating opportunities for them to generate ideas, speak up their thoughts and openly discuss with their teammates.• Ensuring that each teams are on the same page and have a mutual understanding amongst themselves by utilizing visual artifacts (post-it-notes and mindmaps) for better communication.• Always listening with empathy and an open mind. Providing aid to participants who struggles to articulate and communicate their ideas and thoughts to the group.• Improvising the workshop based on the group dynamics and workshop goals whilst adapting on the go.• Implement lessons learned and provide constructive feedback to the team at the end of every workshop; this includes individual’s presentation and strategies on how we can develop personal growth.

Stood down due to Covid from March 2020 to Nov 2020.Main responsibility is to prepare quality assurance and prepare drawings for residential construction projects. This is a highly technical role that requires extensive familiarity with design principles, computer-aided drafting technologies and building codes:• Ensure drawings are accurate and present the necessary information for construction, sales, body corporate and council approval; as well as clients.• Assess land information to determine the suitability of a house and land package.• Ensure the contract information including pricing and specifications are accurate in iHub (Privium’s in-house software).• Communicating with the internal team in regards to the standards and regulations.

Boutique size development and project management consultancy firm that specializes in development management, superintendent and feasibility studies.Primary responsibility:- Assisting the director when needed. - Document architectural drawings with Revit, such as concept design and design development. - Follow up and coordinate with consultants and project team members via phone calls and emails. - Liaising with local councils in regard to regulations and permits. - Provide administrative support such as maintaining and updating document records. - Develop excel templates for project management uses.

M.Kiandee Architect is one of the largest architectural firms in Sabah, Malaysia, that was established in 1989 by its current owners. The business specialises in design and contract management of development projects, and has been the market leader in the state of Sabah for the past couple of years. Currently with an employee-base of 100, I joined M.Kiandee Architect to assist the team with large-scale architectural projects for major commercial and office development in the city of Kota Kinabalu.Responsibilities:- Proposed layout plan for Riverson Hotel, built-in furniture layout arrangement and revised ceiling plan for Riverson Medical Centre and built-in furniture design and revised interior layout plan for CMC project.- Coordinated architecture project team for CMC and Riverson project. Communicated with project clients, consultants, suppliers and project team members.- Prepared and developed architectural drawings with AutoCAD.- Responded to consultant’s phone and written enquiries. Taking minutes at a meeting.- Assessing architectural drawings to ensure that it meets the agreed design and technical requirements. Examining 3D rendering images to ensure that it reflects the drawings accurately. Provided recommendations to solve or improve design issues.- Creating a list of potential vendors that may meet the CMC project requirements. This was done through web searching, looking at trade magazines, communicating with supply companies and recommendations from colleagues and clients.- Reviewed the Bills of Quantities (BQ) for CMC project to ensure that it accurately captures the information of the required work and its quantity. Reviewed tender drawings to ensure that it provides sufficient and correct information of proposed works.
