Born and raised in Nigeria, I moved to Dallas for high school and now call Houston home, where I practice as a CRNA. With a nursing degree earned in 2012 and a CRNA certification in 2018, I also hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). As a McNair scholar, my research focused on tackling burnout in healthcare, something I’m passionate about addressing.In addition to my clinical work, I’m the founder of Lokum, a venture-backed B2B SaaS platform that’s changing the way healthcare staffing works. Lokum is the first direct-to-provider VMS system of its kind, designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity in anesthesiology. We successfully closed our pre-seed round in June 2024. I’ve also had the opportunity to join the Techstars JP Morgan and Google for Startups accelerators, remaining an active member of their alumni communities.When I’m not focused on work, you can find me gardening, sewing, painting, or enjoying a game of Super Mario Brothers on my Nintendo Switch.
