As a Youth and Adolescent Health Promoter in the Community Health sector of Peace Corps, I work to expand health education in a small community in the Department of Caazapá in the beautiful country of Paraguay. In conjunction with the local health post, government, schools, and passionate community leaders, I strive to support and learn from my community, until my service ends in August of 2026. In December of 2023, I finished my degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago, graduating summa cum laude and majoring in political science and minoring in history. Before my time in the Peace Corps, I was an English language facilitator at Universidad Popular in Little Village, Chicago. I am continuing to take the time to sustain my current passions, discover new interests, expand networks, and explore new opportunities to learn.
