I am a champion of learning new things and learning them quickly. That insatiable curiosity is the reason why in recent years, I have worked at a veterinary ophthalmology lab, a sculpture studio, a farm-to-table cafe, an elementary school in Spain, and a small tax firm. As a talented communicator, I spark great conversations and make people feel understood. I also have a genuine interest in connecting with people to find out what makes them tick, which is why I love to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. This is also why, in meetings and gatherings, I can be relied upon to offer up a “cell phone jar." I am passionate about the art of storytelling. In addition to being the way I make sense of the world, storytelling allows me to connect with people--through visual and performance art, journalism, and yes, research and data.
