In the 2020 General Election, I proposed an approach to the other judges to improve efficiency in the small poll by strategically dividing the judges to focus on specific tasks, instead of rotating. My role was to work on the technology side of the election by issuing provisional ballots to those who had previously issued a mail-in-ballot, but ended up voting in person. Participating in elections and collaborating with other judges taught me anything can be executed smoothly with teamwork, organization, and unity. I demonstrated to the other judges who were doubtful that election day was gonna be difficult with a few workers missing that it can be easy if we were productive and worked together. I am driven by improving situations, encouraging others, and leading change.
