Director Of Information Technology
CurrentIn my role as Head of Information Technology, I am responsible for the strategic direction of Information Technology infrastructure operations, including planning, organization, and execution of company-wide IT initiatives. I oversee teams covering systems engineering, network engineering, database administration, systems administration, and multi-tier desktop support. As a collaborative group, we ensure the proper operation and functionality of all IT systems as required for end users to perform their job functions and plan and improve services and functionality of the infrastructure to support business objectives.• Leverage agile project management skills using Scrum or Kanban methodologies to lead and prioritize the Information Technology department’s workload.• Partner with other business leaders and teams effectively leveraging technology to promote and aid in business objectives.• Work alongside the IT teams to modernize IT systems, leveraging SaaS, virtualization, and cloud-based technologies to drive increased performance and security while reducing overall operating costs.• Manage the IT budget, monitor expenses, manage vendor relationships/renewals, and all capital expenses.• Plan, organize and lead local projects, initiatives, and teams, ensuring prompt delivery of objectives within expected budget and risk parameters.• Work with the IT team leads to plan team development, mentoring staff members to help them grow in their chosen Information Technology field.
