I am a neurodiversity-affirming and compassionate occupational therapist with experience in schools, early intervention, acute care, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. My creative and compassionate approach always honors my clients' interests and autonomy, with a focus on creating a more inclusive world. I advocate for the children and families I work with in my community and hope to develop community-based programming for inclusive music, dance, and theater workshops. I recently had the honor of joining Michigan Stage's board as Accessibility Liaison. The recent COVID crisis has put me in a unique position to act as a direct consultant to all parents of students on my caseload, finding and creating worksheets, activities, and games using common household materials and involving siblings where appropriate. Through these relationships, I've created an approach to planning special events in a way that supports sensational children's individual needs while still facilitating family-centered experiences, and the end result is The Sensory Concierge. Through the methodical and analytical occupational therapy approach, I help coach parents through the process of planning vacations, day trips (to the zoo, theater, etc.). I advocate for the children and families I work with in my community and hope to develop community-based programming for inclusive music, dance, and theater workshops. In addition to graduating with honors, I achieved several notable accolades while earning my Masters of Science, including being the Vice President of our Student OT Association, the student liaison to the Pennsylvania OT Association, and Speaker Coordinator for the Annual Intercollegiate OT Night for the Greater Philadelphia Area.
