Directed all youth and family education programs at the SF Bay Area's largest synagogue, with over 700 students in grades K-12. In two years I conducted evaluation of all aspects of the school, leading emergency updates to budget management, student safety practices, HR protocols, supply inventory and storage, and established a new infrastructure of clear goals, roles, vision, and strategies for curriculum growth via collaborative conversations and elevating expectations.

Keshet works for the full equality of all LGBTQ Jews and our families in Jewish life. We strengthen Jewish communities. We equip Jewish organizations with the skills and knowledge to build LGBTQ-affirming communities, create spaces in which all queer Jewish youth feel seen and valued, and advance LGBTQ rights nationwide. In my role I would visit Jewish education institutions to run workshops with either teacher or students to both expand understanding about LGBTQ people, explore how their community welcomes LGBTQ members, and the many different ways they can individually and organizationally be better allies.

Jewish Teen Foundations (www.JewishTeenFoundations.org) trains and inspires local high school students to engage in high-impact, values-based philanthropy by running their own fundraising campaigns and grant making foundations. Each year program participants solicit over 1500 donors, liaise with ~90 nonprofits, and allocate over $180,000 for local and global programs they select. As Director, I was responsible for program vision, curriculum design and development, staff hiring and training, overall program management, grants management and donor relations. Additionally, as the leader of one of the oldest, largest and most established youth philanthropy programs in the country, I regularly mentored new programs around the country, spoke at conferences, lead webinars, and built networks between professionals in the field.

Planned, developed and implemented two annual staff training programs for 80 international and domestic Jewish service learning professionals.Coordinated air/ground transportation, personnel paperwork, and billing logistics.Designed new pre-program, eLearning instruction.Facilitated one to ten week-long programs for American volunteers in Central and South American communities.

Interim role while in graduate school.Opened Hazon's first West Coast office in San Francisco.Established collaborations and joint projects with local progressive, Jewish organizations.Launched and directed the 1st Annual Hazon Ride (a 4-day retreat and bike ride from Sonoma to SF for 120 participants, raising $100,000).
