I immediately quit my job as an instrument mechanic and started BICS on 6 August 2003, the first 100% Black female-owned laboratory solutions partner.I secured my first contract to provide a solution for a laboratory for Rand Water, and the rest, as they say, is history.Today, BICS is a solution provider for 72 laboratories at 38 clients, and helps more than 500 laboratory personnel run streamlined and efficient operations so that they can achieve their mandate. We have forged a solid reputation for delivering laboratory solutions. Today, 18 years on, we are still a solutions partner for our first client, Rand Water.
