Supervise, train, coordinate, motivate and evaluate performance activities of (15) casting/re-melting team members in production operations of aluminum slabs, billet, tee ingot, etc., from (9) industrial 100,000 lb. holding furnaces generating 1300-1400 , according to client order specifications.•Assign tasks and assure coverage of all required workstations, specifically HDC (caster and stacker), VDC units, Holding Furnaces and Dross Processing operations.•Coordinate Potline metal input to meet product priorities and analysis requirements; fulfill extra job assignments, as required; collect and communicate information to following shifts on all current and anticipated conditions with respect to casting and reclamation operations. •Team Member in implementing program, scheduling two-day class/workshops and instructing plant personnel in Behavioral Science Technology (safety) process (ongoing training for 450 associates). •Maintain active safety program; observe and conduct audits for adherence to all safety rules/safe job procedures and housekeeping standards by all personnel, including conducting safety meetings and inspecting plant operational conditions for potential workplace incidents. •Train subordinates, develop and maintain a team concept work environment while also encouraging leadership capabilities and advancement potential of associates. •Coordinate maintenance work with production requirements within assigned area of responsibility.•Contribute in supervising/coordinating processing of 650,000 lbs. of molten aluminum per shift.
