I work in partnership with a property management company to provide Resident Services to families living in subsidized housing complexes. The case management I provide is long-term and intensive helping families maintain their housing and work on self-sufficiency goals. I create and partner with other non-profits to provide programs for the youth and adults that reside here. In addition to this, I have worked with the residents to build and maintain a multigenerational, multicultural community garden onsite in Bloomington.

As a Case Manager I provide housing case management services to homeless refugees and asylees at scattered sites. I work with property owners to find appropriate housing that fits each family's needs. After locating housing we work on self-sufficiency goals until they reach the housing subsidy graduation point. I also work at a low-income apartment building in St. Paul as a Resident Services Coordinator. I work with the low-income families that live at the property to maintain their housing and work on self-sufficiency goals. I coordinate and lead weekly programs for families and help promote and coordinate a community garden onsite.I provide local resources for residents living in subsidized housing. I strive to continue to build community connections and partner with other non-profits to provide youth and adult programming.

Through a shared host (University of MN Extension 4-H and Big Brothers Big Sisters) I provided youth programming for "at-risk" youth in St. Cloud and the surrounding area. I coordinated weekly activities and partnered with additional non-profits to bring programming to low-income building complexes. I also assisted BBBS staff with mentor matches and support.

Through a shared host (University of MN Extensions 4-H and Big Brothers Big Sisters) I lead youth programming at various sites for "at-risk" youth. I created and implemented lesson plans for these sites and built upon a 4-H Adventures curriculum. I coordinated 4 youth lead multicultural gardens in the St. Cloud area and worked with volunteers to maintain them.
