The duties of this position require the research & understanding different business models, business structures, and financial reporting. This role demands being able to tell the story behind the numbers. Why is cash flow decreasing year over year? What types of businesses have high inventory levels? So on and so forth. This position helps me build my teamwork and collaboration skills amongst the Portfolio Manager and Relationship Manager on my team, as well as the other analysts on the commercial team. Time management & prioritizing work based upon deadlines is also a strength that I am sharpening from this position. Overall, working with all different types of businesses and business structures has expanded my thought process and has been tremendous in my professional development.

Reporting directly to the Athletic Directors of Development. Directly working with a vast donor population and handling financial gifts paid to the university. Communicating and problem solving with donors regarding ticketing and premium seating options. Common use of Microsoft Office and AudienceView software.

Assisting the Director of Operations with managing an eighty person track & field team along with twenty staff members. Duties include scheduling team travel throughout the season, general administrative tasks, acting as a liaison between staff and athletes. Other duties include directing team events and collaborating with staff on facility projects. Praised by staff, administration, and athletes.

Directing and managing multi-million-dollar construction sites. Scheduling of subcontractors, material orders, and inspections. Working directly with the superintendent and general contractor to remain on schedule and strategic planning going forward. Other duties include supervising daily projects and subcontractors and working diligently to abide by legal code.

Financially advised a student led start-up company. Tasks included, researching to build an income statement projected out two years, financially advise the start-up team, and represent the team financially during business pitches.

My responsibilities included managing employees, supervising jobsites and overlooking finished jobs. I also managed various administrative tasks.
