I aspire to become a data scientist. I want to pursue my career in areas such as self-driving cars, adaptive online education, web security, medical science, machine translation etc. My research topic in graduate school is applying NLP methods to source code analysis, including code clone detection, code search, code generaton etc, but I am also interested in computer vision and reinforcement learning. One of my advantages is that I am a full-stack web developer and have worked on several projects from produt design to final shipment. I believe in creating values by applying technology for the benefits of human kind. Apart from academics, my passion is Squash: I co-founded PKU Squash Association; I am on school squash team and have won national college championships; I have one-year start-up experience in creating a website to digitalize sports competition managment processes; I am a certified squash coach. I also enjoy playing tennis and learning languages, including programming languages and foreign languages.
