Managed the Premier League’s relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including: Safety at Sports Grounds Authority, Members of Parliament, Members of the House of Lords, the Football Association, Football League, Football Supporters’ Association, the Home Office, DCMS, ACPO, Metropolitan Police, Federation of Stadium Communities European Healthy Stadia Network and numerous local supporter groupsEstablished partnerships with local community organisations and charities and set up the PL Fans Fund to distribute funds to local initiativesLed the Premier League’s inclusivity agenda and developed a range of programmes which led to greater participation in watching football matches from minority groups. Short term contract. Co-ordinated Fans Embassy project for Euro 2000. Role included raising sponsorship, liaising with local and national Governments and police. We established a mobile Fans Embassy for all England matches and my work concluded with the Tear Gas and Truncheons report to the UK Govt which was instrumental in changing attitudes towards England fans.

I established the Merseyside Music Development Agency to enhance local opportunities for employment and business development. MMDA was a public / private partnership that successfully attracted investment into the local economy, promoted bands and supported studio and rehearsal facilities. I also managed the PRS Information Centre which was central to the IPM's development as a research centre.

Responsible for developing community capacity and participation in local regeneration projects. Set up first resident led coalition to influence and make decisions.
