Focusing on the Aerostructure Design of a Vertical Take Off drone in the Skylabs VTOL Project.

President of the UNSW Skylabs society previously known as UNSW Design Build Fly. As President I oversaw the running of the executive team, its marketing of the society and seek of sponsorships from different sources personally applying and liaisoning with sponsors. Further, I worked as a technical member on both Skylabs VTOL and Skylabs Design Build Fly taking on design and construction work. Where Skylabs VTOL was able to build a aircraft that intergrated Vertical Take-off and Landing capabilites and Skylabs Design Build Fly competed in AIAA's Design/Build/Fly competition in America where we placed 24th out of 107 universities from around the World.

Lead the project in all aspects maintaining all university relations, budget, marketing, project progress, timelines and any other parts of the project. Successfully maintained an active team and progress through the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, navigated budget cuts and other hardships bought on by the pandemic eventually through strong progress and organization restored our funding and membership numbers to pre-pandemic levels.Further leading the transition to a society in accordance to the university guidelines by composing a constitution while further expanding and restructuring the project to comply with all regulations. Also developed a framework for other projects to be incorporated into the society like a FPV project.

In this role I lead technical design and manufacturing related to the plane DBF21-1. Further, led the integration of the Technical Lead role with the Project Manager role.

Team member in charge of designing the PCB and avionics system. For the project I learned about PCB Design and how to design circuit boards for the plane. Furthermore, assisting in manufacturing of the internal structure.
