I managed the entire finance function for the company. When I started at Ivor King the companies finances were run on spreadsheets. Since then I have implemented Sage Line 50, Sage Construction to track specific construction projects with their budgeted costs/revenue against actuals, Insphire to track hire revenue along with specific items of plant and hired materials and Sage Payroll in order to take the Payroll function in-house.I worked closely with the Managing Director, Simon King, and reported directly to him. I was also responsible for liaising with external financial stakeholders and statutory organisations.I was responsible for multiple VAT and CIS returns, production of monthly management accounts for both internal and external stakeholders, HR matters, Credit Control, Payroll and payment of all suppliers.There was a lot of variety in my role, and I was involved in many Key areas of the business, and I was always happy to take on extra responsibilities when required.
