•Responsible for growing UCLA Health's annual giving program to include an exponentially more robust grateful patient acquisition strategy, a mid-level annual giving program, and thoughtful donor stewardship and retention. •Manage a team dedicated to building out UCLA Health's crowdfunding, peer-peer fundraising, social media, and email footprint, including redesigning our giving website and creating UCLA Health's first comprehensive Giving Tuesday plan. •Oversaw a year-long RFP process to hire a multi-channel direct response partner specializing in healthcare and Grateful Patient-specific direct response. Serve as lead strategist for growth of overall direct response program, including partnering with annual giving colleagues from the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital in order to ensure system-wide success.•Piloted and currently manage UCLA Health's first comprehensive employee giving campaign, including strategies for engaging major faculty and emeriti donors, partnering with UCLA Health Marketing and Communications in employee giving outreach, overseeing the development of a dedicated employee giving website, and planning mini-campaigns designed at boosting staff morale and growing a culture of philanthropy.•Developed UCLA Health's first ever quarterly meet-up for annual and special giving colleagues from all across Health and the Professional Schools, many of whom had never met and/or collaborated with one another. As a result we are now able to partner across the system to build comprehensive campaigns around awareness months and Giving Tuesday, as well as deploy consistent messaging and engagement during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

•Oversaw all aspects of donor stewardship for the UCLA College of Letters and Science (annual goal of approximately $65 million and capital campaign goal of $400 million) in partnership with deans, academic staff, faculty, and development officers. •Researched, drafted, and prepared personalized impact and endowment reports (more than 400 annually) for the College's major donors ($10,000 to $5,000,000+). Managed donor acknowledgments across all giving levels ($1 - $1,000,000+). Drafted acknowledgment letters, impact report narratives, event programs, communications with academic staff and faculty, research updates and briefs, and other stewardship and cultivation-related materials.•Created, managed, and maintained the College's Centennial Campaign honor roll. In addition, developed and managed formal recognition programs for loyal donors, repeat donors, first-time donors, and faculty and emeriti donors. •Former member of UCLA's Donor Experience committee and a graduate of UCLA's prestigious Professional Development Program.•Hired, trained, mentored, and managed stewardship coordinators.•Created and managed a best practices training program for UCLA College staff, which outlined expectations for interacting with donors from gift processing through cultivation and stewardship. This training is based on the Disney Institute's guidelines for providing quality customer service.

•Planned and implemented annual giving campaigns, growing both the number of individual contributors and giving levels.•Drafted annual giving solicitations, speeches, event invitations, acknowledgments, articles, brochures, and e-blasts.•Coordinated and managed donor acknowledgement and fundraising events, including private exhibition openings for donors and off-site fundraisers for special campaigns.
