As a member of the Open Connect CDN Reliability team, I am responsible for both day to day operation of the global CDN, as well as contributing & collaborating with others to improve the reliability of the CDN. These efforts include developing & running python based automation tools in the cloud to manage and scale the fleet of Open Connect Appliances (OCA), and resolving partner ISPs with OCA, network routing, and capacity concerns. Additionally, I participate in hiring panels for multiple teams, and partner with new hires focusing on orientation and ramp up responsibilities. I also work with the business development team on OCA deployment planning, and partner with them at industry conferences to work with ISP partners. Co-workers have often given me feedback describing me as detail oriented, a tenacious problem solver, and incredibly reliable.

As an original member of of the CUDA Automation group, I architected, deployed & managed theCUDA test automation lab infrastructure, which consisted of over 600 heterogeneous testsystems running Linux, MacOSX & MS-Windows, managed by a dozen file, database & webservers. This infrastructure was continuously used by several different global teams (Developers& QA) for development & testing of new CUDA system software releases. Projects &responsibilities included automated test plan development for current & future GPU products,design & maintenance of test automation scripts (bash & perl), hardware & software/OSperformance & stability monitoring and management (SNMP, munin & homebrew) tools,developer test automation tools (backend engine & web front end), development & deployment ofautomated test result reporting tools and applications (web/PHP based), and primary decisionmaking responsibility for planning & purchase of new hardware. Additionally, I managed and waspart of the team that automated over half a million CUDA tests which ran daily. I interviewedcandidates for open positions and mentored new hires. I researched, reviewed, and madeproposals to management for new tools to enhance the automation infrastructure, which includedvirtualized automated build environments running Linux or Windows, replicated fileservers usingDRBD, and load balanced database clusters using PostgreSQL streaming replication & pgpool.
